my dolls, as you know, i usually prefer to talk about independent shops and products (like the wonderful goodies on etsy) but i can't help write a little post about a guilty pleasure of mine: yankee candles.i adore scented candles and they have so many delicious aromas. i once visited their flagship store and let me tell you... it was amazing! seriously amazing.
my favorite ones are the holiday ones. they have a new holiday line out right now, but my all-time favorites are christmas wreath and mistletoe.
i also love lemon lavender on regular days. what are your favorites? do tell.

Christmas Sugar Cookie all the way! sea breeze smelled like a love of mine once, I used to have a bunch and I went out of town and my roommate had a party and people used them as ash trays very very sad :(

i will have to try these out sometime soon. i've never have and there is even one at the mall near my home. but i am with you about candles, i love em. my hubby and i are always buying them. right now we burn glade scented which smell just as great, especially the berry ones, angel whispers and vanilla. candles from partylite are also nice.

I'm not sure if Yankee Candle carries this scent, but my favorite scented candle is Pumpkin Nutmeg, which I have burning right now. Anything pumpkin smells great to me! Also anything cinnamon :)

haha! my boyfriend is from Massachusetts and is simply crazy about Yankee Candles. I bought him one without knowing this, and he was totally giddy. it was adorable. I love their Ginger scent :)

I'm with you. I love the holiday ones. Christmas cookie is great. And I love cranberry chutney for Thanksgiving time.
i went to a home store a little while ago and found the candle aisle. i started smelling all of them and found some kind of birthday cake candle. i probably looked like a candlehead getting high off of that stuff but it was amazing. i wouldnt buy it for the house or anything but i would consider going back just to smell it. how do they capture that stuff?!
I love Yankee Candles too, Nina. My parents used to live near the flagship store and we'd always make a trip over whenever we visited. It's quite a place!
For fall I love Harvest and Autumn Wreath. Jack Frost and Christmas Cookie come out for Christmas most years. And then it depends. Todd gave me Lemon Lavender for my birthday last summer and I loved it. So many scents...

My husband grew up five miles from the flagship store, so I've been there many times, and you are so right; it is amazing. In fact, his younger sister used to work there! They have a big sale the day after Christmas that we always go to when we're at his parents' house for the holidays.
I love scented candles, and YC really do make some of the best. I love mistletoe during the holidays, too. During the summer, I'm a fan of honeydew melon, and my all-time favorite scent is citrus and sage. They sometimes make one called sunflower that is really pretty, too.
As you can see, it's a guilty pleasure for me, too! Think I'll go light one right now!! xo

I just bought a Yankee candle from their Beanswax soy line. It's called "Spice, Spice Baby," and it is a heavenly scent perfect for the holidays!

I love Yankee too but am soooo sad - they discontinued my favorite, Honeydew Melon, about a year ago. I couldn't believe it. It was so light and fresh smelling *tear*
