why not...

  • go to a fancy store and try on dresses you have no intention of buying
  • order chinese food and watch one of your favorite movies again (mine is high fidelity)
  • sit in the grass and write in your journal
  • put on some old school tunes and do a little waltz... in your pajamas
  • put on sweatpants straight out of the dryer, warm and smelling like clean laundry
  • wear yellow knee high socks
  • braid your hair, put on pink lipstick, and go make cute faces in the mirror
  • pick a new spot to sit in your house, like against a wall or on the opposite side of the couch
  • go through your closet and donate some of your unused items to charity
  • start a blog and tell the world how you feel :)
happy tuesday!

when I was in high school or home from college, every time some boy bruised or broke my heart my mom and i would head down to the fanciest store we could think of and try on the most expensive dresses we could find.
It always made me feel better.

I can check off the trying on dresses part. Though I'd love to do it again-so much fun!! All your suggestions are lovely, I'd love to sit in the grass with my journal right now enjoying the sun.
